We provide comprehensive firefighter training to youth ages 14-18, preparing them for lifelong careers in emergency services while developing leadership, character, and community commitment through professional standards and board-governed excellence.

Independent Nonprofit

Plaistow Junior Firefighters operates as an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with its own board of directors, bylaws, and governance structure. The program maintains full autonomy in curriculum development, instructor selection, and operational decisions.

Hosted by Plaistow Fire Department

The program is graciously hosted by the Plaistow Fire Department, which provides access to training facilities, fire apparatus, and equipment. This partnership enables hands-on training in a professional fire station environment while maintaining the program's independent nonprofit status.

Educational Partnership

Through partnership with Timberlane Regional High School, Timberlane students can earn Extended Learning Opportunity (ELO) credits toward graduation requirements, recognizing the educational value and rigor of our comprehensive firefighter training curriculum.
